It's PLAYTIME!

It's that time of year... tax preps! Yech! I used to love dealing with numbers & finances... but since my latex allergy & multiple chemical sensitivities went bizerko, they're one of my least favorite things to do. Not sure what would happen if I didn't use QuickBooks Pro and Turbo Tax! Because of the inks & chemicals in the rects, they're problematic for me... so instead of "keeping up" with them throughout the year (like I would like to!), they pile up and then I have to do EVERYthing all at once (... can be mind-boggling & overwhelming! ...).

Well... I have the rects in date order & grouped by month... yesterday I finished imputing the data for 3 months! (actually only 2, but I forgot June was done the previous day, so I thought it was still waiting... so, for me, that's 3!).

SO, I earned some PLAYTIME!!! and what more appropriate than to use Mags' new kit, Toddler Playground (links below)... and scrap my grandsons' playtime at the park!

MY Valentine 2013

Whoo Loves U

I love all things hearts ... so was THRILLED when MagsGraphics designed this FUN & CHEERY valentine kit with all kinds of hearts... along with some owls (a personal reminder to pray for a dear friend of mine who loves owls!). Ended up being the perfect complement to scrap a super fun Facebook event that an old school-mate and I put together last Fall. What can I say...?... I love food too! hehe

Remembering our 1st date!

I was delighted when Mags released her Golf Bundle (his & hers). My hubby & I are soon to celebrate our 35th anniversary. Our 1st date was miniature golf... during our 25th anniversary year, we were able to go back to the location of our 1st date... it took 3 digi-layout pages to scrap the highlights :-)

North Shore Adventures 2012

Keiko had an absolute blast with our spring trip to the North Shore this year. It was her 1st "vacation" away from home AND her 1st time to Lake Superior with its rocky beaches. She LOVED it!! We had a marvelous time and look forward to our next annual visit there.

FROGGY FUN!

We were recently blessed by a week long visit in Michigan with my parents and two of our son's families. It's always a JOY when we get to spend time with our grandsons, Ethan & Jaden. Mags recent kit, Frog in My Pocket was absolutely PERFECT for the park adventure that Grampa & "the boys" had on their walk. He was the cameraman and it was exciting to see that there were 4 photos I could use for each layout... 3 pages... "the Walk...", "the Search..." & "the Find..."

Boys will be BOYS!

I just love these photos of my great-nephews Cade & Korbin. I'm SO blessed to have so many "boys" in my life (3 sons, 2 grandsons, 'many' nephews & 4 great-nephews)....AND they're among my favorite subjects to scrap!

Swim Lessons

Lots of memories here. We watched Star Wars for the very 1st time after their swim lessons one day... with all 3 boys in a shopping cart at the Navy Exchange... in the TV department... feet hurt after standing for so long, but it was worth it! We now have ALL the episodes... on Blu-Ray!
