A Week of SCRAPPIN' FUN!

Imagine my delight at having 4 whole days of uninterrupted scrapping! Tagged along with hubby on his business trip and while staying in a studio suite... NO laundry... NO cleaning (except few dishes)... NO phone calls... I had a plan!! Had digital kits from 4 fabulous designers and oodles of time for the creativity ball to get rolling... and it did!!! Catching Up 4 - Alice

More of the treasured OLD slides yielded these wonderful finds. My Great Gram's birthday celebration! Apparently I got to help "prep" the candles :-)

I have warm, cuddly memories of my Great Gram... she loved doing cross-word puzzles and spent many hours sitting next to the window in the dining room with book & pencil in hand. An enjoyably repeated task was the daily brushing of her hair and putting it up in "pin-curls"... I don't remember my arms ever getting tired (like they do now!). Ah... the memories! Alice's "Let's Celebrate" kit was perfect for preserving & showcasing this particular event.

Binty designed this awesome, fun & tender kit, "Backyard Romance". A fitting title for scrapping the "love of my life!" After graduating early from high school, we moved further south and... well, I'll just let the pictures tell the story.

We were privileged to vacation in the Black Hills last October. Such wonderfully CLEAN air (until they did a prescribed burn, but that's another story!), hiking trails all to ourselves, wildlife & mountain views to photograph... we had an absolutely WONDERFUL time!! A day trip to the Wild Horse Sanctuary was an exciting part of our adventures!

We had many opportunities to worship our Lord Jesus in the midst of the beauty of His creation -- How great is our God, how AWESOME is His name!

1  Sing to the Lord a new song; Sing to the Lord, all the earth. 2 Sing to the Lord, bless His name; Proclaim good tidings of His salvation from day to day. 3 Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples. 4 For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods. 5 For all the gods of the peoples are idols, But the Lord made the heavens.

Catching Up 2 - Bianca

I had a complete blast converting OLD slides that had been lurking in hidden places at my mom's house. What memories they brought to mind!! Exploring the Tide Pools with our Sunday School Class, Church Picnics, Summer Indian Camp at Alpine... and VERY timely was Bianca's kit, Explore... did these layouts as part of a OKC (one-kit-call).
